Hello

I’m a freelance graphic designer — I work with authors, publishers and small business owners to create identity graphics, books, consumer goods and promotional materials.

I have a specialty in creating bilingual English-Chinese and English-Japanese medical, philosophical and scholarly texts.

I designed a logo and from there designed all the marketing materials, the directory’s design, the articles and information inside, and most of the ads within. • The NCDWV publication was a directory of Lane County businesses providing earth-friendly products and services. I was Art Director of the print publication, which was published for 6 years. NCDWV is currently an online publication.

YETAG Brains in Action Flyer

UO Youth Enrichment Tag Programs & SEP

Posters • flyers • brochures • print ads • forms • website styling

UOYETAG and SEP needed engaging advertising materials to attract both parents and kids. Making program information and enrollment steps easy to understand was a top priority, as was adhering to the UO’s very specific branding guidelines. • UOYETAG offered challenging programs year-round for advanced learners in grades K-12. Summer Enrichment Program (SEP), is a 2-week summer camp for grades 7-11 held on University of Oregon campus. I was Graphic Designer for the program for over 10-years while it was at the University of Oregon. When UO decided to shutter the YETAG and SEP programs, there was a public outcry. Oak Hill School adopted and continued the programs for a few years.

I was asked create an eye-catching poster and accompanying brochure incorporating student artwork a base and for inspiration. I layered the artwork and added color to create a textural, richly-colored background. • Earth Matters on Stage (EMOS) eco-theatre festival was first held at the University of Oregon in 2009. Co-founder Dr. Theresa May, Associate Professor of Theatre Arts at the University of Oregon was also Artistic Director that year. EMOS was founded in 2004 by Theresa May and Larry Fried and continues to foster new dramatic work. earthmattersonstage.com
